Maggie Toussaint’s debut mystery IN FOR A PENNY gives us Cleopatra Jones, accountant,
avid golfer, single mother of two, and finder of a dead body on a golf course. Oh yes, there’s
a short-haired Saint Bernard in the mixture, too, as well as quirky friends and a manipulative
Mama. Maggie used to be an aquatic toxicologist, and I’ll ask her about that just to round out
